Here are the match reports for Monday and Wednesday

On Monday the 16^th October Ribston Hall Year 8 A and B squads played a Hockey match against Severn Vale. For the A squad, we started off with strong passes and confident dribbling leading us to score a goal. With more determination and teamwork we managed to gain a few more goals with our attack and defence still putting 100% in. The final score was 5-0 to us. The player of the match was Madeleine Williams but the whole team did amazingly well. Especially Katie Lane who did amazingly in goal as the best goal keep we have had in a long time. Well played.

For the B team on Monday, the final score was also 5-0 to us, which was an excellent result for a new team who had barley played together. The player of the match for the B team was Chloe Tickle, who scored a hat-trick.  Well played to everyone.

On Wednesday the 18^th October, the new A team Hockey squad for year 8 played another match against St Peters. After a good warm-up, we began the match. We won the toss and got first centre pass which gained us a good boost for the beginning of the match. St Peters weren’t having any of this and fought back strongly and scored a goal, fortunately for us this goal didn’t count because there was a foot in the ‘D’ so a short corner took place. After our hard  work St Peters scored a goal. We played our absolute best but  unfortunately we didn’t score leaving the final score 1-0 to them . Player of the match was Flossie Martin but Katie Lane played amazingly well in goal stopping loads of balls. Well played girls.
