The Ribston Baccalaureate for Sixth Form

We are proud to have established the Ribston Baccalaureate Programme for our Sixth Form students. This educational initiative offers our students a unique and challenging curriculum that prepares them for a successful future, both academically and professionally and is accredited by the National Baccalaureate Trust.

The programme:

  • Provides a challenging and unique curriculum

  • Prepares students for university and future careers

  • All students have the opportunity to achieve this award, which records both academic and extracurricular achievements.

  • Recognises achievement in academics, arts, sport, and community engagement

  • Is accredited by the National Baccalaureate Trust

Key Features

The Ribston Baccalaureate is structured around three core areas. Core Learning develops academic knowledge and skills through A Levels and ongoing assessment. The Personal Project - Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) encourages independent research, creativity, and presentation skills. Finally, the Personal Development Programme supports students’ personal growth through enrichment, leadership, and community engagement.

Students who complete the Baccalaureate receive a transcript recognising achievement across all three areas, showcasing their academic and personal development to universities and employers.
