Teaching Assistant

Ribston Hall High School is looking to recruit a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to support a student with Special Educational Needs and to undertake general classroom duties.

This is a new role that would suit someone with a passion for working with young people who is responsive to the needs of the individual both academically, socially and emotionally, but who can help them to develop their own sense of independence to achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their school career.

The successful candidate will have energy and enthusiasm, preferably with existing expertise or qualifications relevant to the role of supporting a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additional experience supporting students with Physical Disabilities would be an advantage.

The hours are 9am to 12.30pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 1pm Friday.

Relief Cover Supervisors

Ribston Hall High School is looking to recruit relief Cover Supervisors to work on an ad-hoc basis to provide classroom cover, sometimes at short notice. This may be for one lesson, a whole day or for an extended period.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with young people and be able to demonstrate a positive outlook and enthusiasm supporting the students during periods of teacher absence. Experience of working in a school or with young people is essential for this role along with the ability to engage with the students and maintain classroom behaviour.

School Cleaners

We are looking to appoint positive and enthusiastic individuals to work as School Cleaners.  Working as part of a busy and friendly cleaning team, you will carry out general cleaning duties of the school premises including classrooms, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.  You will be responsible for ensuring our school is a clean, hygienic and safe environment.
