Students and staff at Ribston Hall High School are celebrating another year of exceptional A-level success, with outstanding results across a wide range of subjects and a significant number of students securing places at leading universities and competitive apprenticeships.

Ribston is delighted to share the outcome of its recent Ofsted inspection, which took place in May 2026. The final report provides a highly positive reflection of our school, recognising the strength of its culture, the quality of education provided, and the exceptional outcomes achieved by students.

The seven Gloucestershire Grammar Schools (G7) have appointed Future Stories Community Enterprise (FSCE) as their new admissions test provider for entry to Year 7 from 2028 onwards, following a comprehensive competitive tender process.

The procurement sought an organisation with proven technical expertise, robust security, strong capacity for large‑scale assessment, and a commitment to fair and accessible selective testing. FSCE was selected from a field of qualified national providers.

Students across Years 9, 11, 12 and 13 met with schools from across the world to take part in Model UN this month. 

Model UN is an educational simulation of the United Nations, where students represent different countries, research global issues and debate resolutions in a formal setting, just as delegates do at real UN conferences.
