The results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience of students, supported by dedicated teaching staff and families throughout their studies. Beyond their A-level studies, 90% of students attained the Ribston Baccalaureate, recognising their wider contribution to school life, while 83% of students undertaking the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) achieved grades A* to C.

Among the many outstanding individual performances were:

• Violet Watkins, who achieved four A* and an EPQ Grade A. Violet plans to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath.
• Georgie Abbey, who achieved four A* and plans to study Theoretical Physics at the University of Birmingham.
• Amy Blanch, who achieved A*, A, C, C and an EPQ Grade A. Amy plans to study Mathematics with Computer Science at the University of Lancaster.

Also celebrating were Vienna Thomas and Alicia Williams, who successfully secured highly sought-after Degree Apprenticeships offered by EDF, taking both opportunities available this year. These achievements were mirrored across the year group, with students demonstrating excellence in subjects spanning the sciences, mathematics and the arts.

These excellent results are testament not only to their academic ability but also to their commitment, perseverance and positive attitude throughout their time in our Sixth Form. Today's outcomes represent years of hard work and dedication, and it has been wonderful to see our students rewarded with grades that will enable them to take the next steps towards their ambitions. Whether they are progressing to university, apprenticeships or employment, we know our students have bright futures ahead of them. I would also like to thank our staff and families for their unwavering support in helping our students achieve their full potential."

"This year's cohort has been exceptional. They have embraced every opportunity available to them, both inside and outside the classroom, and today's results reflect their hard work and determination. We are particularly delighted to celebrate the success of students who have secured places on highly competitive courses and prestigious apprenticeship programmes. Their achievements demonstrate the breadth of talent within our Sixth Form community.

It has been a privilege to support these students on their journeys, and we look forward to hearing about their future successes."

As students collected their results this morning, there was a strong sense of excitement across the school, with many celebrating confirmations of university places through UCAS and securing progression to their chosen pathways.
