Statutory Information

Secondary schools in the UK must publish a specific set of statutory information to comply with Department for Education and Ofsted regulations. You can find that information, and links to other useful information on this page.

Our latest Ofsted Report

Ofsted visited our school in May 2026. We are awaiting further information from Ofsted. We will publish the Report once we have received it.

Previous Ofsted Report

Pupils are proud to attend this school. They feel well cared for and describe Ribston Hall High School as being like a family. Many parents who responded to Ofsted Parent View say their child is happy and thriving at the school.

Ofsted visited our school in May 2026 and we received a Good rating. You can download a copy of this Report on the Ofsted website.

Department of Education Performance Tables

The Department for Education (DfE) provides data to compare the academic outcomes and progress of schools and colleges in the UK. You can find out how well our school performs against national averages. Please visit the DfE website for more information.

Pupil Premium Information

What is Pupil Premium funding?

Pupil Premium funding is allocated to schools in respect of:

  • children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM); and
  • children who have been looked after continuously for more than 6 months.

As of 2012–13, this also includes students eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure).

What is Pupil Premium funding for?

Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium as they see fit to "close the gap" between children from disadvantaged circumstances and those above the low-income threshold.

This means that Pupil Premium funding is not linked to a specific child, but is to be used for overall impact. However, Ribston is held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to support students from low-income families.

Our Pupil Premium Strategy details our school’s use of Pupil Premium and Recovery Premium funding. It also outlines how we intend to spend the funding in this academic year and the outcomes for disadvantaged pupils last academic year. You can download the Strategy Statement on our Policies page.

To find out about Pupil Premium eligibility, how to request support and general information about Pupil Premium funding, please download our Pupil Premium Policy on our Policies page.

If you have any queries about support for Pupil Premium students at our school, please email our Finance and Operations Manager, Lisa Hughes: lhu@ribstonhall.gloucs.sch.uk.

Please note: Pupil Premium funding is available for students in Years 7–11. Sixth Form students are able to apply for Free School Meals and the 16 -19 bursary
