Navigating Challenges and Charting a Path to Recovery: Ribston Hall High School Celebrates 2023 A-Level Results and Reaffirms Commitment to Academic Excellence

We are really pleased to announce our students fantastic A-Level results for 2023 today, reaffirming the school's commitment to academic excellence and student development. Despite the ever-evolving landscape of education, this cohort of students has once again demonstrated their resilience, determination, and outstanding academic ability.

This year's students set a new standard of success, surpassing our 2019 pre-pandemic results. With over 53% of A-Level students achieving A*-B grades, Ribston Hall continues to offer students a supportive environment to achieve academic excellence, but to also thrive in.



The commitment of our students to their studies has translated into outstanding UCAS points results, opening doors to prestigious universities and diverse career paths. 82% of students have successfully secured a university place, with other students pursuing exciting apprenticeship placements, both of which are a testament to the dedication of our students and outstanding teaching staff.

Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Cat Nicklin, expressed her delight at the students' accomplishments, "The journey of our students reflects their dedication, adaptability, and ability to perform at the highest academic levels. We take genuine pride in witnessing them not only meet but also surpass both their own and our ambitious expectations”.

Mr Alec Waters, Deputy Headteacher, shared, "Mr Alec Waters, Deputy Headteacher, shared, "We are extremely proud of our students' outcomes, which represent significant progress from 2019.  Their achievements are particularly noteworthy as these results mark the first formal public exams for our young people in the wake of the pandemic.  Their performance stands as a testament to remarkable resilience and dedication." 

Ribston Hall's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals is evident through its diverse range of courses, extracurricular and leadership opportunities and pastoral support available at the school, with students heading on to a wide variety of higher education - from studying Paramedic Science, History, Biochemistry, Fashion Design to highly competitive Civil Service Apprenticeships.

These remarkable achievements align perfectly with our vision of cultivating a community of ambitious learners and resilient individuals. As our students embark on the next chapter of their journeys, we are confident that they will continue to shine and make us proud.
