Maximising Your Potential in Sixth Form

Students showing a real interest and who read around subjects outside their specifications will often achieve more highly at A Level.

Universities and employers are looking for enthused, engaged and excellent candidates who show a passion for their studies. Cambridge University have stated, "As our admissions decisions are based on academic criteria we expect to see evidence of students' super-curricular activities and wider engagement with their wider area of academic interest such as reading and other exploration relevant to the course applied for".

Consolidation of your GCSE knowledge will help to prepare you for your A Level studies. The Study Skills section will provide you with lots of ideas on how to be successful at A Level.
