Deputy Headteacher

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral and Inclusion) to join our Senior Leadership Team at an exciting time in the school’s development. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the next phase of Ribston Hall’s journey. As an inspirational leader joining Ribston at a time of both opportunity and complexity, your role will focus on embedding an inclusive, aspirational culture for high‑ability students; strengthening systems that support wellbeing, attendance and belonging; and helping to guide the school confidently to achieve our vision.

  • Grade: Leadership Scale 17-21
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Teacher of Physical Education

Our Trustees are looking to recruit a permanent Teacher of Physical Education on a part-time basis (circa 0.5 FTE). We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Physical Education, with experience of teaching up to A-Level, who shares our vision and ethos to become part of the PE team and join an ambitious, vibrant and innovative school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to support our range of extra-curricular clubs and sports fixtures.

Teacher of Music

Our Trustees are looking to recruit a permanent Teacher of Music on a part-time basis (circa 0.5 FTE). We are looking for an inspirational teacher with experience of teaching Music up to A-Level, who shares our vision and ethos to become part of the Performance team and join an ambitious, vibrant and innovative school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to support our school performances and productions and, ideally, play piano to a high standard.

Trustees (voluntary position)

Ribston Hall High School is looking to recruit additional Trustees to join our Board. This is a voluntary position that provides an exciting opportunity to make a positive contribution to our school community.

Ideally suited to experienced professionals with strong leadership and decision-making skills, the role of Trustee is very rewarding with a real scope for personal and professional development, whilst contributing to the success of our students’ educational journey.

We would require a commitment to attend 8 -10 evening board meetings a year, having pre-read the meeting papers and to undertake 3 or 4 school visits a year. Ideally, these visits would take place during the main school day, to observe the school in operation in agreed areas of interest.

You will also be invited to attend various events, performances and celebrations of school talent and achievement when these occur, to enable you to experience the richness of our school.

Relief Cover Supervisors

Ribston Hall High School is looking to recruit Relief Cover Supervisors to maintain lesson continuity during teacher absence. This is to work on an ad-hoc basis to provide classroom cover, sometimes at short notice. It is a very flexible job and cover may be for just one lesson, a whole day or a week.
